“Company Performance”

Soo Dance Company Program / Performance Participation Requirements

To participate in a performance, follow these guidelines:

1. Pre-Ballet, Level 1, and Level 2 Ballet Students:
   • Minimum enrollment in two classes per week.
2. Ballet Students in Levels 3, 4, and 5:
   • Attend two technique classes and two company ballet rehearsals per week.
   • Sign a commitment contract for five months.
   • Rehearsals are mandatory and do not count towards weekly technique classes.
   • One excused absence allowed; more than two absences require a private makeup at your own cost.
   • Missing more than five rehearsals results in removal from the show.

Costs:

1. Participation Fee: $35.00
2. Professional Photography/Videography Fee: $40.00 (mandatory)
3. Company Rehearsal Tuition: $150 per term (for Levels 3, 4, and 5 ballet students)
4. Costume Deposit: $100 (refundable on May or December bill)
5. Costume Expense: Determined once the studio selects costumes.
6. Show Tickets: Sold separately.

Special Arrangements:

• Prep Class:
  • For those unable to commit to a second class.
  • One-hour semi-private lesson at $100 before the winter show.

Additional Information:

• Show Prep Class for Non-Ballet Students:
  • Available for fine-tuning technique and choreography.
  • Comprised of students from the same level and class.
  • Enrollment opens four weeks prior to the performance.
• Non-Ballet Students in the Show:
  • No mandatory additional classes.
  • Recital dance choreography taught during regular class.
